As an Operations Supervisor Logistics & Sorting Center (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our sorting centers while leading teams and driving operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop Operations Team Leaders and operational employees within the sorting center
Oversee daily sorting center operations to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service targets are consistently achieved
Monitor operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions where necessary
Coordinate workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of operational best practices
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety regulations
Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and support timely problem resolution
Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to optimize end-to-end operational performance
Prepare operational reports and provide regular performance updates to management
Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management activities within the operations team

Your Profile

Several years of experience in logistics, parcel delivery, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, or a similar operational environment
Proven leadership experience managing Team Leaders or larger operational teams
Strong understanding of sorting center, hub, distribution center, or last-mile operations
Experience working with operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and performance management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
English proficiency required
German and/or Chinese language skills are considered an advantage
